In 2001 The Brett Ringer Memorial Golf Tournament was established by former Rock Hill High School Football Coach, Jim Ringer, to honor his late son Brett Ringer.
The Tournament raises monies in the form of Scholarships for High School Students to help with College expenses at the College of their choice.
The Tournament is held at Pinetuck Golf Course in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This is an 18 Hole Course with a conveniently located clubhouse. Golf Carts are provided for all players, along with a couple of beverage carts riding around to keep you hydrated!
Students at the 3 Rock Hill High Schools and Lancaster High School may apply through their school for the Scholarships.
There is a special committee that reviews each application and then selections are made.
The Brett Ringer Memorial Tournament is a non-profit tournament where 100% of the monies raised goes into the fund for the students.
In 2019 we raised over $11,000 dollars. Since 2001, we have raised over $100,000 for students! This is achieved through player registration, golf hole sponsors, our presenting sponsor, beverage cart sponsor, lunch sponsor, donations, and dedicated volunteers.
If you would like to become a sponsor or to donate, please contact Tricia Kimbrell at 803-324-6117. Donations are accepted all year long!
Thank you to all the participants, sponsors, all the donations, and the volunteers who make this tournament such a success!
The Brett Ringer Memorial Golf Tournament will be held the 3rd Thursday, June, 2020 at 9AM at Pinetuck Golf Course in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
